Few people will be surprised with the main finding of the partial autopsy report released to Vicky’s sister Irene yesterday, 19 May. As foreshadowed in the preliminary police report, the cause of death is listed simply as drowning.
Toxicology test results will be appended to the report when they become available. Unless those results offer any new evidence, it seems unlikely that the Coroner will order an inquest.
Irene has just returned to the Philippines with a copy of the report, which she will show to her family tomorrow, 21 May.

I agree that this death must be investigated. A death is a death no matter whose. The truth must come out and am certain that the Hongkong police can ferret out the truth. My condolences to the family of Vicenta and I pray to God for the rest and peace of her soul.
I left HK in 1998 after 13 years with the thought that HK is one of the safest place you can go. Now I have a second thought of telling my friends that it’s still is. This incident makes me very sad, definitely there’s a foul play here. I hope and pray that Vicenta’s death will have justice. My condolences to her family.
